At Priority Physicians, one of our goals is to help patients move beyond reactive healthcare and toward a more proactive, personalized approach to longevity and wellness. While our standard membership has always focused on longevity, PRIORITY PLUS (https://priorityphysicianspc.com/longevityplusmovement) has additional offerings patients can consider and discuss with their physician. In addition to VO2 testing, cognitive function evaluation, and movement analysis, we are excited to begin offering advanced gut microbiome testing through Jona Health Services.

VO2 max is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during intense exercise. Think of it as a measure of your cardiovascular engine: how efficiently your heart, lungs, and muscles work together under pressure. It's considered the gold standard measure of aerobic fitness, and the research linking it to long-term health is strong.

By now you have read Dr. Priddy’s introduction of Longevity Plus, a curated selection of next-generation testing and treatments that extend beyond our current membership offerings. We sat down with Dr. Amanda Morris to discuss our first and foundational phase of Longevity Plus, your physical movement. Spoiler alert: Dr. Morris was generous enough to be featured in a video to provide the full picture of what to expect! Coming soon, the first phase of Longevity Plus will feature a comprehensive Movement Assessment performed by an expert physical therapist right here in our office. As an optional specialized addition to your care, there is a nominal ($200) associated fee with this assessment, invoiced at the time of service.

The days are getting longer, the weather is warming up, and after months of hibernation, the urge to get outside and move is undeniable. Whether you are dusting off your golf clubs, pulling your running shoes out of the closet, or gearing up for a massive weekend of yard work, spring is the season of activity. But for orthopedic doctors and primary care physicians, spring is also the season of the "Weekend Warrior" injury.

According to the Groundhog, we aren't quite out of the woods yet, and winter is here for several more weeks. Perhaps you may have noticed you're not quite feeling like yourself? You're not alone! Many people notice changes in their mood, energy, and sleep during the shorter, darker days of fall and winter. This is often referred to as "winter blues" or mild winter-related sadness.

As we begin a new year, we find ourselves reflecting not just on what we’ve accomplished, but on what matters most: the relationships we've built, the trust you've placed in us for your medical care, and the ordinary and extraordinary moments we've shared.
