Longevity Plus: Movement Series

By now you have read Dr. Priddy’s introduction of Longevity Plus, a curated selection of next-generation testing and treatments that extend beyond our current membership offerings. We sat down with Dr. Amanda Morris to discuss our first and foundational phase of Longevity Plus, your physical movement. Spoiler alert: Dr. Morris was generous enough to be featured in a video to provide the full picture of what to expect!

Coming soon, the first phase of Longevity Plus will feature a comprehensive Movement Assessment performed by an expert physical therapist right here in our office. As an optional specialized addition to your care, there is a nominal fee ($200) associated with this assessment, invoiced at the time of service.

Think of the Movement Assessment as an essential check-up for your mobility. Through a quick series of science-backed tests (check out a video featuring Dr. Morris working through the tests), we determine your starting point and compare it to healthy norms for your age and sex. We’ll show you what you’re doing well and exactly where to focus your efforts.

Are you currently an active individual who wants to be aware of any imbalances that might set you up for an injury down the road? Are you trying to figure out how to incorporate some routine movement in your life safely, but don’t know where to start? Are you an elite athlete who wants to optimize your functioning? This assessment is valuable for a wide range of ages and abilities. Our therapist will be certain to tailor the activities to your individual needs.

Our goal is simple: to empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to stay active, injury-free, and feeling great as you age. We believe healthcare isn’t just about treating illness; it’s about optimizing your health so you can enjoy every stage of life to the fullest. Contact your care team to request scheduling a movement assessment soon!
