Comprehensive Physical Exam

We are pleased to include our Comprehensive Physical Exam as a standard component of your practice membership. This thorough health assessment is comparable in breadth and depth with the most elite annual exams in the country.

Your Comprehensive Physical Exam will assess your physical wellness, identify personal risk factors, guide medical focus, and establish a foundation for your personalized preventive wellness plan. This benchmark then directs all other medical care and additional concierge services throughout the year – including managed preventive care follow up, 24/7 direct physician access, and complete care coordination.

What does the comprehensive physical exam include?

Our comprehensive executive exams commonly take 3-4 hours to complete, and include:

  • A complete patient medical history, behavioral risk profile, and comprehensive physical assessment
  • Collection of vital body statistics
  • Blood draw and extensive lab result analysis, including full general health and standard lipid panels and optional advanced review of cardiac inflammation markers, lipoprotein analysis, and genetic indicators. (NOTE: Lab processing is billed separately to insurance by our providers; Patients are responsible for any additional balance payments.)
  • Body composition analysis
  • Resting electrocardiogram
  • Treadmill stress testing (if indicated by patient’s age and ability to participate)
  • Low-dose heart and lung CT scans (screening scans only as indicated for patients over 40)
  • Triple vascular screening, including carotid and abdominal artery scans (as indicated for those over 60)
  • FotoFinder Bodystudio Scan – automated total body mapping (ATBM Dermatological Screening)

  • Spirometry (pulmonary function testing, as indicated)
  • Basic vision screening
  • Urinalysis

  • Nutritional counseling, conducted on-site by physician
  • Exercise prescription and fitness assessment, conducted on-site by physician

(NOTE: Vaccinations are billed separately to patients’ insurance by our providers. Patients are responsible for any additional payments required.)
  • Prescription for travel vaccinations (NOTE: Billed separately to patients’ insurance by our providers. Travel vaccinations are available upon request with exception of Yellow Fever, which is administered through federally controlled sites. Patients are responsible for any additional payments required.)

How do I get my results?

Our detailed labs require additional processing; results from annual screening blood work may not be available for up to 14 days. With this in mind, we schedule your exam approximately one week after your in-office blood draw to allow a comprehensive review of your lab results during your physical exam.

Upon completion of your exam, you’ll receive a comprehensive report outlining the results of your exam and your customized, physician-recommended preventive care plan. An electronic copy of your exam results and all other relevant medical records are also available upon request or via our patient portal.

How are insurance claims processed for labs and vaccinations?

Insurance claims for lab fees and vaccinations are submitted directly by our partner labs and vaccine providers to your insurance carrier. Claim handling may vary based on your insurance plan, and balance payments may be required by our providers. Please contact us for more information regarding your specific plan’s participation structure.
