adam harker, M.D.

We are excited to formally announce that Dr. Adam Harker will be joining our practice in September at our Carmel location.

Dr. Harker is a board-certified family medicine physician originally from Granger, Indiana. He completed his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and received his doctorate from Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania, he decided to return to the Hoosier state to be closer to family and friends.

Dr. Harker is looking forward to having the time to sit down with his patients and move them in a positive direction by improving their health and achieving related goals. He is excited that the Priority Physicians’ model will allow him to do this. He shares, “We all share the same biology and physiology, but everyone is vastly different in their needs, motivations, and challenges. I want to meet each individual where they are on that day.”

It is important to Dr. Harker that he creates an environment that allows his patients to make the correct decisions regarding their health and wellbeing, while he helps facilitate and guide them. He enjoys working with males and females of all ages and is especially interested in focusing on preventive health care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Harker enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, hiking, and cheering on his sports teams (Cubs, Bears, and Purdue basketball)
