Priority Physicians is proud to be the first healthcare provider in Indiana to offer Navigenics® genetic analysis services.  We believe that personalized healthcare is the future of medicine, and we are the only practice in the state to offer an option that integrates this degree of personalization as a part of our preventive care and general wellness programs.  Now, more than ever, we are truly here for you.

We’ve partnered with Navigenics to provide an opportunity for our members to take the next step in developing uniquely personalized healthcare strategies with our physicians.  Supported by best-in-class clinical collaborators such as the Mayo Clinic, Duke Medical Center, and the American College of Preventive Medicine, Navigenics uses genetic testing to uncover your individual genetic predispositions for a number of health conditions and medication sensitivities.  These personal genetic insights can help you and your doctor take action to prevent or delay the onset of important health conditions such as diabetes, heart attack and even cancers.  Navigenics' genetic analysis also helps you understand how certain pharmaceuticals work with your genetic makeup, allowing you and your doctor to choose medications that are more likely to be safe and effective for you.

Your health and life are always evolving, and so is the science behind genetics and personalized medicine.  As new genetic markers and research emerges, Navigenics will provide ongoing updates and genetic insights related to a growing list of health conditions and medication responses.  Unlimited access to a dedicated Navigenics Genetic Counselor will also support the personalized health strategies developed by you and your physician.  For patients who would like to continue the program after their first year, subscriptions for renewal will be available for an additional fee.
